Terra.com Leading The Way in Soccer Coverage

Terra Networks USA, the leader in Spanishlanguage Internet in the U.S. and throughout Latin America, has been selected by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) to create and host the official website of Copa Oro (Gold Cup™) soccer tournament July 6 to 24. This edition of the tournament features a record number of 25 matches in Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Houston and Miami. All soccer
enthusiasts can log on to http://www.terra.com/deportes/ for the latest updates in both
English and Spanish.

“This partnership is on the heels of Terra’s selection in 2004 by the South American
Soccer Confederation to host the official site of Copa America,” says Michele Azán, vice
president of sales at Terra.com. Terra.com is currently the official site for two of the
world’s top soccer clubs, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, and also offers in depth
coverage of Liga Mexicana.

The association also tapped into Terra’s innovative site-build out capabilities to ensure
maximum presence on the Internet. “Sports organizations and marketers alike
recognize Terra’s dynamic sports content and award-winning creative design,” Azán
said. The video content on the Terra site has grown significantly to meet the rapidly
growing Hispanic audience. In fact, U.S. Hispanics are the fastest growing segment in
broadband adoption. “Terra.com will be the only online destination where viewers can
see exclusive video footage of tournament highlights,” she added.

CONCACAF Gold Cup™ 2005 promises to be the biggest and best Gold Cup™ yet,
bringing the regions’ leading soccer event for national teams to millions of more fans.
Over 350,000 spectators have attended in previous years and millions of more fans
have viewed the tournaments in its entirety on national broadcast television in the U.S.
and abroad on major networks like Televisa in Mexico.

In addition to up-to-the-minute coverage, Terra will have a sweepstakes to give web
users a chance to win tickets to the games. Users will be able to watch videos of the
most important goals and the best moments from each game with “Show de Goles,” and
Match Tracker-up-to-the-minute play-by-play coverage during the 2005 games in July.
Fans can also experience each key moment with “See the Action” photo galleries and
obtain Copa merchandise from the official Gold Cup™ Store.
