US Hispanic Online Audience Growing, 2006 Year in Review

Acording to a study from Terra Networks, based on traffic figures from comScore Media Metrix, the growth of US Hispanic online uders is outpacing general uders by a factor of 6.5.

The Hispanic online audience in the US increased by 13% between the end of 2005 and the end of 2006, while the general market increased only 2% during the same period.



Not only is the total audience size growing, but Hispanics are spending more time online, too.

US Hispanic have passed the general market in terms of time spent online per day; they now spend an average of 88.1 minutes online per day, vs. 81.7 minutes per day for the online audience in general (for the month of December 2006).
