Terra USA Announces the Addition of Three Industry Experts to their Business Team
Miami, FL – August 15, 2012 - Terra, a global digital media company and bilingual content producer with a presence in 19 countries, announces the addition of three industry experts to their executive team. In the midst of a successful year, Terra continues this momentum by appointing Daniel Alonso as Vice President of Business Development, Vanessa Lizama as Client Development Director and Omar Suardy as Director of Marketing. The new executives will report to Fernando Rodriguez, CEO of Terra USA.
Alonso will be responsible for leading internal and external contract negotiations for content, media sales and technology deals with advertisers, content and/or distribution partners and other third party vendors in addition to managing and coordinating strategic partnerships. Lizama will oversee pre-sales and sales development in addition to developing creative integrated marketing programs and sales content. Additionally, Suardy will be responsible for developing and managing the organization's marketing strategies in order to expand Terra’s audience in the United States as well as directing and coordinating public relations initiatives for both the US Hispanic and general markets.

Alonso, with extensive Hispanic and Fortune 500 background, comes from Univision Communications, where he was Senior Director of Marketing for Univision Enterprises, responsible for overseeing the development of marketing plans associated with the launch and continuity of Franchise Development & Strategic Partnerships initiatives, ensuring that business goals were met.
Lizama joins Terra USA from Zubi Advertising, where she was responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining multimillion-dollar advertising campaigns including national and local media such as TV, Cable, Radio, Print, OOH, Digital, Mobile, Social Media, Gaming, and Events. She has received multiple ADDY awards and Hispanicad.com Media Planning Excelencia awards for her work with Ford Motor Co. campaigns.
Suardy was most recently Group Media Director for Starcom Worldwide and has more than 14 years of combined experience in media positions ranging from Domestic to International, full-service agency to media agency.
