Trinidad & Tobago opens four-team tournament with victory
The hosts, Trinidad & Tobago opened a four-team tournament (Digicel Shield) Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain with a 1:0 victory over Haiti on 28 May.
29/MAY/07 - Andre Toussaint notched the game-winner for Trinidad & Tobago in the 76th minute as they ended Haiti’s five-game unbeaten streak.
In an earlier encounter, St. Vincent & The Grenadines were beaten by Mexico’s Pan American Team on penalties, 8:7, after a scoreless draw on 28 May.
The tournament concludes on 30 May at the Hasely Crawford Stadium when St. Vincent & The Grenadines meets Haiti in the third-place match, while Trinidad & Tobago faces Mexico’s Pan American Team in finals.
