Fue correcta la decisión en el caso Galarraga

La temporada de Carlos Silva ha tenido poca repercusión en la prensa, quizás porque a todos nos ha tomado por sorpresa incluyendo a los periodistas o quizás mucho más a los periodistas. La mejora es grande desde todo punto de vista, lo más impresionante es sus 8 victorias al hilo, para empatar el récord para un venezolano que ostentaba en solitario Wilson Álvarez, pero el resto también es muy bueno.

La mejora es grande desde todo punto de vista, lo más impresionante es sus 8 victorias al hilo, para empatar el récord para un venezolano que ostentaba en solitario Wilson Álvarez, pero el resto también es muy bueno.

Menos de tres de efectividad y una tasa de ponches que supera en mucho a la mantenida el resto de su carrera es algo que tiene mucho que ver con los resultados. En mi opinión personal, darse cuenta que su sinker surte el mismo efecto en bola que en strike, es uno de los secretos fundamentales para la mejoría de todo, en especial de su confianza.

Tengo un concepto personal de que cuando un lanzador mejora de forma visible uno de sus lanzamientos, el resto se potencia y esto es lo que ha sucedido con Silva que ahora no tira una recta de práctica, ahora su recta es sorpresiva y es un arma de peso en su repertorio, gracias a la mejorada Sinker.

Pero dejemos que sean los seguidores de mi cuenta de twitter @beisbologo los que opinen, esta es la primera vez que hago este tipo de columnas y quizás sea algo a ser tomado en cuenta en la presunta reformulación de mi columna. Una vez alguien me dijo que me cuidara mucho de lo que escribía, porque quienes me leen muchas veces saben más que yo, pues ahora veremos que dicen nuestros expertos twitteros:
