SYNOPSIS:
Deliciously warped and winsome boyhood memories
of Christmas are told by a typical American man
revisiting his native Indiana during the 1940s in
A Christmas Story.
Ralphie's
authentic childhood escapades are easy for anyone
to relate to - whether young or old. Some of the
most entertaining moments in the film are when we
view the family interaction, especially when Ralphie
has to dress up in a bunny outfit Christmas morning.
One of Ralphie's childhood pursuits is to own a genuine
Red Ryder BB gun; it consumes every aspect of his
feverish imagination. When he gets one it leads
to some of the funniest parts in the movie.
Based
on Jean Shepherd's novel, In God We Trust, All
Others Pay Cash, this is guaranteed to be a
Christmas classic the entire family will enjoy.
