Ingredients (6 Servings)

1 kg (2.2 lbs.) ground meat (1/2 kg - 1 lb.- veal and 1/2 kg
-1 lb- pork) |

1 apple |

1 onion |
 |
2 cloves garlic |
 |
1 green pepper |
 |
1 carrot |

cup tomato sauce |

A
potato puree made with skim milk, butter and salt, to cover
pie |
 |
Strips
of cheese to top pie |

Olive
oil and salt |
Preparation

Chop onion, apple, garlic cloves,
carrot and green pepper. Place in oiled saucepan and sauté. Add
tomato sauce, then add meat. After adding and cooking the meat,
transfer to a casserole dish. Cover with a layer of potato purée,
then add strips of cheese on top. Place in oven and cook until cheese
melts.
