Tree Trimming Tips

Three ways to trim your tree

The Classic Tree
The classic Christmas tree must be a cone-shaped pine or fir tree planted in a big base with fine soil. Once you have the tree, you need a star to put on top and plenty of gifts to go at the bottom. The branches should be covered with colorful ornaments, but in order to get that classic look, you should stick to a golden or silver color scheme. If you limit yourself to the same color scheme for the ornaments, you'll have a very elegant tree. You can use regular ornaments, stars, tiny gift boxes and a golden bow here and there. Those tiny gift boxes that are miniature versions of the gifts that the Magi will leave under the tree also provide a nice classic touch. Colored lights are a nice addition. But, don't go crazy with the colors; just as you have limited yourself to golden, silver or red ornaments, so you need to limit yourself with the lights.
