How to decorate

Keep it simple
Your house doesn't have to be jam-packed with ornaments. Try using matching garlands in different sizes, along with a few ornaments and some lights to give your fireplace that touch of class you've always liked, without losing the Christmas spirit.

If you prefer, you can make an interesting centerpiece yourself. You only need a few candles in different sizes, some hazelnuts, walnuts and dried flowers. Arrange them inside a wooden or glass container -- something that will let you see most of what's inside -- on the mantelpiece. Add a final touch with a few rosemary leaves to create a unique and decorative centerpiece, and give your fireplace a Christmas feeling all its own -- and a pleasant aroma to boot!
