Care
The Poinsettia should receive the maximum amount of sunlight possible since it will shed leaves in very low light.
It thrives in a constant temperature of 16 to 21 centigrades and should be protected from harsh air currents.
Before it blooms, it should be watered abundantly, although the soil should be allowed to dry out between waterings. It requires less water when in bloom.
When it starts to lose a large amount of leaves, it is best to water less frequently and give it a good pruning.
