HOLIDAY CENTERPIECES
Candles and Nuts
Easy to make and very eye-catching. All you
have to do is place a gold or silver candle on a bowl or dish of
the same color. You can arrange any number of nuts and even pine cones
around it. It is ideal for limited spaces and you can make a few
more to place along the table. You don't have to use a large candle,
a nice pillar candle and a pretty plate will suffice. Make sure
the nuts are not too close to the base of the candle to prevent
them from getting wax on them or burning.
Wreaths and Gold Candles
Place two candles in the center of a wreath-it
could be an artificial wreath. This is also a good idea for making
a small centerpiece. You only need to two different size candles,
and a small wreath of garlands or mistletoe to make one of the most
popular holiday centerpieces. The green and gold color scheme
creates a pleasant, warm and very appropriate atmosphere for the
holiday season.
Evergreen Swag
The perfect Christmas ornament, it is made to be
admired. It's created by combining a simple evergreen garland
with sprays and clusters of white berries. It can can also be used
as a centerpiece. Place a poinsettia and some nuts inside the arrangement
for a stronger statement.
