MILK AND COOKIES
In the United States, children usually leave out a dish of cookies and milk on the night of Christmas Eve for Santa to grab a bite. The idea is that after such a long trip, and having to deliver so many gifts, it is always a nice gesture to leave him a snack. |

Often, children leave the snack with the hopes that if he should linger a little too long snacking, they can catch a glimpse of him.
