  ASPEN (COLORADO-USA)

Located in the state of Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Aspen is one of the best American ski resorts, if not the most complete. Aspen entered the world's stage when the World Alpine Skiing Championships were held there in 1950.
At the juncture of four mountains, Aspen offers skiing at elevations between 2,400 meters (7,920 feet) and 3,700 meters (12,210 feet), unlimited slopes, 40 lifts and the snow of your dreams .

NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATIONS IN ASPEN

The many four- and five-star hotels serving this resort have planned large celebrations to ring out the old year and ring in the new millennium. There will be traditional parties and some very special celebrations, including one presented by American Indians, complete with ritual displays and customs typical of the Rocky Mountain area .
