WHISTLER (CANADA)

Located
on the west coast, 120 km (74.4 miles) from Vancouver,
along the British Columbia range, it is regarded as the
finest ski resort in North America. It includes two mountains,
Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb, and boasts the longest
ski season in the world, from November 24 to June 9. Whistler
combines an Alpine style with the enchantment of Canada's
west coast. Its proximity to the coast allows for moderate
winter temperatures, rarely falling below 10 degrees below
zero in the valley and 15 degrees below in the Alpine
zone during the coldest days of the year. You can expect
an average Alpine daily temperature of 5 degrees below
zero during most of the winter season.
