THINGS TO SEE AND DO NEARBY
This hotel, located on the banks of the Amstel River in
the heart of the cultural and entertainment district of
the Dutch capital, offers a pleasant, luxurious, and brilliant
environment. All in all, the perfect setting for celebrating
the arrival of the new millennium.
In addition, Amsterdam offers a multitude of possibilities
for tourists. There are an infinite number of things to
see in this city of canals, a city that is like no other
in the world.
Perhaps, you can start with a walk through the city center,
strolling along the canals, viewing the countless churches
that rise among houses dating back to the golden age,
and the numerous museums, bookshops, and art galleries.
You should also take a stroll through Central Station,
one of the most beautiful in Europe, and go to Dam Square,
where the Royal Palace is located. The Amsterdam Museum
of History is also worth a visit, as is Museum Square,
where you will find the greatest number of art galleries
in the country: the Rijskmuseum (the largest collection
of art in Holland), the Van Gogh Museum and the Municipal
Museum.
Setting culture aside for a moment, we recommend a visit
to the Café Hoppuno, one of the oldest in the city, and
a laidback stroll down the streets of Joordan, a neighborhood
filled with artists. The Jewish quarter also has many
places of interest.
