Leilani McCONNEY
Age: 19
I am presently a student at Franklin College in Switzerland, pursuing a Batchelor of Arts in International Banking and Finance. My passion and talent is writing. I have a collection of over 30 poems and 12 short stories, and my hopes are that one day I will have them published. I represent the land of the flying fish, perfect beaches, sun and fun. My great love is travelling and experiencing new and different cultures. I have been afforded the opportunity of travelling through Europe, Africa and Asia where I met friends and exchanged ideas. My family have always instilled in me values, which have taught me to be loving and compassionate, and through this I have found fulfilment in being involved in community service. This year my focus will be to take on the challenge of working with children who suffer from HIV and Aids. I speak English, Spanish and Italian.
