Age: 20
I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was five years old my parents wanted me to recognise my real identity as a Chinese so I was brought up in Hong Kong. I did not return to Canada until I finished Grade 11 and got 'A' Grades in Chinese and economics. The Chinese traditions have given me a strong interest towards Chinese poetry and calligraphy. I worked as a maths tutor for Grade 9 students and I have also been a library helper and a peer-tutoring program coordinator. Helping others has helped my self-confidence and in discovering myself. In September 1999 I was accepted into the specialist (COOP) program in management in the University of Toronto and was offered an entrance scholarship. During the past year I have been studying towards a Batchelor Degree in Commerce. I speak Chinese and English
