Ganga GUNASEKERA
Age: 25
From my childhood I have been very interested in science and am currently in my final year reading for an honour's degree in microbiology at the University of Bangalore, India. In Sri Lanka I won the 400 meters athletics championship of Western province. I was head prefect at my school and a member of the University Chess Team that won the inter-university championships. I am also a professional Kandyan dancer. My very special talent is the ability to perform magic and have done many public shows. I am a life member of the Sri Lanka Magic Circle. My ambition is to publish my poems and also to do my post-graduate studies. My interest lies in doing research in bacteria and viruses. I speak English, Sinhalese and Creole.
