Miss Universe pageant contestants star in parade

Miss Universe pageants stopped traffic and exchanged waves and kisses with people in Nassaus, the Bahamas Thursday.

The contestants are only days away from the crowning of a new Miss Universe and excitement continues to grow in the Bahamas and throughout the world.

Miss Universe 2009 will be picked from among participants from 84 countries on Aug. 23.
