El sondeo se realizó a los televidentes de VH1 quienes opinaron que ¿One¿ tiene la mejor frase de la historia, incluso por delante de reconocidas composiciones de The Beatles o Bob Dylan.

Los criterios para votar por la mejor, abarcaban características como la frase más conmovedora, más emocionante, más sincera, más memorable y más certera de la historia.
