Mensaje: mi espanol no es bueno - is it possible for two men from complete different life styles, cultures, education, finances be together? I am 29 successful nice job - pay over 80K went to college - travel and i am in love with a guy that is 25 no education - ilegal in the usa - earns 20k or less only speak English has no travel experience - can a relationship like this work - does something like this ever work. I have always believe that you must look for someone that is at the same level as you - not someone that is less than you = am i making any sence
Well, I can understand your point, sometimes we feel that when you share many things in common, as you mention it, life style, level of education, social position, we could have more chances to succeed in love.
But love does not depend on these things, but is linked to emotions and emotional education that we have. In other words, it has to do with how we perceived love, if we want to have a stable partner, as we respond to their commitments, if we are a sincere person and if our intention is to build a dating relationship, etc.
There is no security when beginnig a relationship with someone that's not socially similar to us and it is not a guarantee for succes either. Furthermore, I suppose that you would have already had many similar experiences that have not worked.
I would suggest that you put your best efforts to observe your relationship with this guy, if you enjoy your time together, if there is an affinity on sex, if he awakens love within you, in general, if the person meets the requirements as a human being that you want to find,in addition to those arriving. And if social status is important to you, you can use that status to make sure that conditions for the relationship can flourish between you both.
