Gordon’s culinary career was initiated at Harvey’s under Marco Pierre White. After time spent working with Albert Roux, Guy Savoy and Jol Robuchon, Gordon shot to fame in 1993 for his work at Aubergine where he won two Michelin stars. Five years later he established his eponymous restaurant in Chelsea, which since being awarded the highest Michelin rating makes Gordon the only chef in London to hold three stars.

This Spring Gordon opened his first restaurant in France at the legendary Trianon Palace & Spa in Versailles, Paris. Recent months have also seen the launch of a 180-cover restaurant named Plane Food at the newly built Heathrow Terminal 5 and a new restaurant in Mayfair together with Jason Atherton, named maze Grill.
Gordon Ramsay is the author of several books, the latest of which, titled Gordon Ramsay’s Healthy Appetite, was published in May.
He has also presented two major television series: Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, for which the latter has been awarded both a BAFTA and International Emmy award.
Further international openings are planned for 2008 in Los Angeles and Amsterdam.
Gordon Ramsay is married to the children’s food author, Tana Ramsay and lives in London with their four children.
